Request a payment

Request a payment with a link.

Create a link to ask for a payment in USDC. Set an amount or let the payer choose it. The payer pays from a Kudu wallet and needs an approved identity check. A payer with no account can create one from the link.

  • The payment goes over the Stellar network to your own address.
  • The payer pays you directly. Kudu does not collect the payment, and does not guarantee it.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Create the payment link

Choose an amount: fixed, a minimum, a maximum, a range, or open. Pick a reason from a short list, or none. Kudu creates a link you can copy and share.

  2. Send the link

The payer opens the link and pays from their own wallet. To pay, they need a Kudu wallet and an approved identity check.

  3. Get paid at your address

The payment arrives at your own address on the Stellar network.

What the payer sees

A link that has expired, reached its limit or been cancelled no longer accepts payments. The page says so, and the payer asks you for a new link.

  • Open the link

The page shows your name, the amount and your reason. For an open link, the payer chooses the amount.

The payer signs in to their Kudu wallet, or creates one. To pay, their identity verification must be approved.

  • Check

The payer checks the name and the amount.

  • Confirm

The payer enters their code on their device. The payment goes to your address on the Stellar network.

Efua, graphic designer in Accra

She sends an agency in Lyon one link for her invoice.

The link carries the amount and the reason, and she set it to stop after one payment.

What a payment link includes

  • One link, one request

The payer sees your name, the amount and your reason before paying.

  • Set the terms

Choose the amount type, an expiry of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days or none, and one-time use or reusable.

  • Not an invoicing service

Kudu does not issue or file invoices. The link asks for an amount, and your own invoice stays your document.
